A song to capture the feeling of a good day.
I made a cup of tea, sat down to work, and the universe said, “It’s your birthday, would you like to make something?”
“I haven’t written a song for a while, that would be fun.”
“Go get your instruments… what would you like to sing about?”
“Let’s just play and see what happens.”
I placed my fingers on the keyboard and the universe decided to start with an Fmaj7.
All morning we played and danced and made music together; we strummed guitars, tapped skins, sang what our hearts were feeling, we flowed.
“Ima follow my heart and it leads me to you. I never thought I could feel this good.”
And then it was time for lunch.
“Thanks for the jam, universe… I like our song.”
“Me, too. Will you share it?”
“Yes, of course.”
