We’re Bede and Mick and we love great stories.
Sometimes we see millions of dollars being spent to make an uninspiring film based on a poor story. We know better stories exist in the world, including some of our own ideas, and one random evening while sharing beers and watching short films we thought,
“How do we make better stories happen?“
So now we’re two dads with day jobs and busy lives who have decided to dedicate time to become better storytellers, and maybe one day, great filmmakers.
We founded Duck Ruckus to help us on our creative journey.
Our grand vision is to proudly see locally made content on our favourite streamers, but to do this we need to start at the grassroots and grow our local storytelling industry at a sustainable pace, to collaborate locally and export globally. We know it’s a long journey and it’s still early days, but we’re on our way.
